Magene L508 radar tail light

3.5/5
  • +Good, if not great, value for money
  • +Highly customizable light modes via the app
  • +Large, tactile power button is easy to use with gloves
  • +USB-C charging and solid build quality
  • −Struggles to distinguish individual vehicles in a group
  • −We logged a brief false negative
  • −The $1.99 fee for the app's radar screen is insulting
