TRP and Classified Vistar Powershift first ride review: a solid alternative to mainstream groupsets, but it's not 1x16-speed | BikeRadarPhoto: BikeRadar
Expert review · 11 Jun 2025

BikeRadar

“The TRP and Classified Vistar Powershift groupset offers a seamless integration of the internal gear hub tech. However, it’s a relatively heavy option and doesn’t feel like a true 1x16-speed groupset in use”
  • +Seamless integration between Classified hub and TRP shifters
  • +quick and precise shifting
  • +class-leading gear range
  • −QuantumShift capabilities over-sold
  • −fairly heavy
  • −almost certainly requires a wheelset upgrade
